I think this would be a relevant subject to discuss in this group. What is true art promotion? I would say, true art promotion is when someone promotes the arts for the love of it. In most cases, nowadays, galleries are not interested in the human creativity but only the fiscal value of the art. This leads to inflated prices and a lack of appreciation for the artist. Art needs to be promoted by passionate people in a more social way by educating the public on art through various events. The usual galleries dont bother educating the market but just target on the niche market that is art literate.

To conclude, true art promotion involves more than just selling art for a profit, it involves developing the market and the sense of art appreciation in people.
