Indo-Arab Creative art festival and Exhibition
Sharjah Emirate is now a well known centre for culture and education in the Arab world. Hundreds of local and international cultural activities are taking place in sharjah throughout the year for the last many years. The tireless efforts of Sharjah Government under the guidance of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah lifted sharjah to its present highly acclaimed and prestigious position as the cultural capital of the Arab World, as recognized by UNESCO earlier.
As an annex to the ongoing cultural events in Sharjah, a 10 days Indo-Arab Creative Art Festival for Children is planned to be organized in the premise of Sharjah Heritage Museum, during 26th Dec 2009 to 4th Jan 2010, with the participation of Indian and Arab schools along with several Artistic/cultural organizations and individuals. The main goal of this event is to develop and promote the artistic talents of children studying in the UAE and to avail them with enough opportunities to share their creations and ideas with the likeminded. The venue will also be a platform for the general public including parents and the teachers to showcase their talents along with their wards.
The festival will be open to all art-loving public from 9 am to 5pm daily, from Saturday, the 26th of December 2009 to Monday the 4th January 2010.
Inauguration will be 26th Saturday evening 5pm at the Thurath Art village.
